fitness is huge for your all around health
its important for human survival
fitness also effects levels in your brain (believe it or not) so the healthier you are the better your brain is-----not meaning smarter just better at reactions to certain things
people can live without it---as you know that already
but life is noticeably easier with it.
don't aim for longer living because it affects your present life as well, it also inceases how helpful you can be to other people
