My doctor prescribed me prenatals (don't know what kind) but my Medicaid doesn't pay for it it's $180-$200. I was at rite aid at the moment because that's where my prescription was sent. I really don't have the money nor money like that to pay for multiple refills, so I was told to get the rite aid brand of prenatal formula with folic acid it was buy one get one free 225 tablets and yes the dates are up to date but I'm 2 1/2 months pregnant and I have not taken them because I'm not sure if it's ok and I can't get my doctor right now because it's the holidays. Please help!!!!

Yes, it is generally okay to take the Rite Aid brand prenatal formula that contains folic acid. Prenatal vitamins, including those with folic acid, are important for pregnant women or those planning to become pregnant. Folic acid helps prevent certain birth defects of the brain and spine in the developing baby. However, it's always a good idea to check with your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement to ensure it's suitable for you and your pregnancy needs. They can provide personalized advice based on your health and medical history.
