I liked this guy in my english class last year, he's really shy and he's never had a girlfriend , and when we spoke we laughed and had fun and we were really close until people started to tease us and I denied I liked him because I didn't want things to get awkward, and he backed off. Now, a year later, we barely talk, he seems distant. What should I do? Did he believe that I didn't like him and got upset because he liked me? Or is he staying away from me because he doesn't like me and never wants to be accused of liking me again? Or does he like me, but just doesn't want to be teased?
