Where can I find a FREE dachshund puppy? I've tried almost everything! Please help me!?

I'd almost be afraid to find any animal free, for fear of neglect and maintenace. Of course, any AKC (American Kennel Club) dog is going to be somewhat expensive, keep in mind you get what you pay for. These dogs are from high top breeders, have their frist shots, and are very well taken care. If you're still looking for a free puppy, I'd check the local and municipal newspapers, as well as online. Sorry if this wasnt the answer you were looking for! Good luck with the pup!

You can check your local veteranarian's office, they usually have listings of any available animals.

You should try Kijijji. But don't get one for free because i got a rotwhiler cross on there for free and it got sick one day and died. But the ones that cost money should be good on kijjiji. im sorry if you already tried that though

I don't know where you live but in the US and the UK almost all breeds of dogs have rescue organisations. Google "dachshund rescue" and you should be able to find something. They will be strict with their criteria as to who they allow rescue animals to go to though, especially puppies and you may have to wait a long time for a puppy (you may be lucky though).
Good luck.
