In my opinion candles are not as practical as they use to be. They can be fire hazards when you do not have power. Which leaves you with flash lights or glow sticks.
I'd rather use large glow sticks with a color that is easy on the eyes. Some glow sticks can stay bright for more than 24 hours and are easy to buy in bulk sizes.
What would you use if your power goes out?

Personally I'd rather use those 10 to 12 inch glow sticks. They're just as easy to get as candles and there is no fire hazards. Also I like to be more conservative when using a phone during a power outage. You never know how long it will last so I would use mine to stay connected with friends and family.
