I accidently dropped it down the toilet when emptying a bucket of dirty water into it as it flushed, I tried plungering it and also tried pulling it out but felt nothing. The toilet is still flushing normally as far as I can tell, the waters all going down and such, but Im worried problems will arose, Im getting many mixed responses, some saying it would have caused a problem by now since it happened yesterday, and that it has simply passed on thrtough out into the city pipes, which im hoping for! Others are saying I need to snake it and its stuck somewhere, but if that was the case wouldnt it be clogged by now?

i think it would have stopped the toilet up it sounds like it went down and outa the pipes its possible its in the sewer by now is this a apt or house some septic systems go into a big tank in the back yard or closer its possible it went in there i think to it goes out a big resivor located close by
Hi! Just wondering if your toilet got clogged when you accidentally flushed the towel down the toilet. I also accidentally flushed down a towel while emptying a bucket of dirty water and I'm now worried that it will get clogged. For now, it's still flushing fine.
