i had unprotected sex with my girlfriend on 4/14/12 and her last period was 4/5/12 so pretty much almost a week after her period.then she took a plan b pill 20 hours after we had sex. i dont really understand the whole ovulation thing so i hope somebody can help me. shes says shes been feeling like she has too vomit since like wensday but she hasnt vomited im hoping its the side effects of plan b im not sure but im freaking out.

Plan B sucks! It makes the girls hormones go crazy. It is the equivalent of taking the entire months worth of birth control. Also, sometimes when the girl is worried about being pregnant, the mind can play some awful tricks and nausea can set in. Since she took the plan B right after the encounter she should be fine. Plan B can be taken up to 72 hours of the encounter and still be effective. There shouldn't be a problem with an unexpected baby coming so you can relax. It is most likely the Plan B giving her the odd feelings. She might want to consider birth control or maybe making sure you have some other protection lying around just in case there is a next time.
Okay i know all about ovulation for example i have twins sooo yea this should ease your mind a little bit. You said she had her monthly on 4/5 and then you had some nooky You are totally Okay because she already released and passed her egg and menstrated it sooo now Unless she ovulated again which wouldn't happen for like 2 weeks or more after her last period you would be fine ITS CALLED the rhythm methond so DON"T WORRY hun you two are okay BUT let this be a lesson to you Be careful because it could happen anytime you all get some My Babies are now 4 yrs old and to this day knew when i ovulated twice to make twins So TAKE Care and good luck ! : )

Normally nothing to be afraid. Maybe her period is already there :)
The cycle of women changes into one to one. But she has to know how many days is her cycle, that means the days between her periods. if it's 28 days, her ovulation is 4/19/12.
But as said the others, sometimes, woman has two ovulation, such as mine in the 12 and 14th days after my period. So, need to be careful.
About this plan B, I do not know cause I do not use it.
Please stop...it is NEVER SAFE to have unprotected SEX. There is ALWAYS a chance for pregnancy! Chances vary depending on the time of the month but there is always a chance!!!
